Cumbria Film Archive - Programme

This is expected to be an evening of many delights, a special treat for those with memories that have the greatest span.  Jim Bownass and Andrew Leitch have assembled a remarkable store of old films and photographs covering Cumberland & Westmorland through the decades of film and photography.  During this presentation, they will gather a selection of footage that has an Eden Valley bias and provide a running commentary on the resulting display of pure nostalgia.

Last year they put together a similar package at Keswick's fabled Alhambra cinema and it was a complete sell-out. So what better than to invite them into the heart of Eden in Appleby to share with us a special selection for our local audience?

We would like to start promptly at 7:30pm and so would encourage you all to arrive in very good time.  The Keswick show start was delayed by the ticket-office queue and it's a lengthy programme to start with.  Online ticket sales will open Saturday 8th February.
